Vehicle Owners/transporters need to renew their:

g. Heavy Goods Permit


You have to provide the following items before your Vehicle can be registered:

a. Attestation letter from the company of purchase;
b. Receipt of Purchase/Invoice;
c. Delivery note from the company of purchase
d. Proof of Ownership of the car
e. A valid and current Driver′s License.
f. Any means of Identification such as Voters Card, National Identity Card and International passport
g. Proof of current address (You can make use of your Utility Bill)
h. Passport photograph of the car owner.

The customer need to prove the Authenticity of his Identification Card and the Vehicle Plate Number of the missing license. And payment for Replacement.

Yes, every Vehicle owner gets an SMS alert from eVRS immediately it has been registered or renewed. Vehicle owners should register with their personal mobile phone number and organisation with their corporate numbers.


Yes, you will receive a 30 days SMS reminder notification once you are registered on our eVRS portal.


You will need to upload through our eVRS Portal with the following details:

a. Your New Bio-data (Name, Address, Contact address)
b. Prove of Vehicle Ownership
c. Utility Bill.


Every Vehicle that meet all Necessary requirements and all documents updated can have access to ply all Nigerian roads.

NO. The Applicant will proceed to the VIO officer within the licensing office for screening and approval. After this, an FRSC officer at the Information Processing Center will capture the applicant's biometric information and issue a temporary drivers' license which will be valid for 60 days.
